WEEK 1 – JUNE 2005

DECISION

To decide is your ability to judge, to make a decision and to act accordingly.  It comes from the Latin word to cut off. Once you decide what you are going to do, you can then progress forward in leaps and bounds.  Our lives are full of such decisions every day.

The indispensable first step to getting things you want out of life is this:
decide what you want.
Ben Stein

Nothing is so exhausting as indecision, and nothing is so futile.
Bertrand Russell

If I had to sum up in one word the qualities that make a good manager, I’d say that it all comes down to decisiveness.  You can use the fanciest computers in the world and you can gather all the charts and numbers, but in the end, you have to bring all your information together, set up a timetable, and act.
Lee Iacocca

I’ve learned that I should make the little decisions with my head and the big decisions with my heart.
Age 52

Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come.
Robert H. Schuller

Sometimes we agonise over decisions, others we make quickly and easily.

Whatever you decide, just know it is the perfect choice for you.
Trust and go with it.

Have a DECISIVE week!
