Week 1 – September 2009

How healthy are you? Usually our own health is not so valued until you become unwell. I learned that lesson just two years ago when diagnosed with cancer myself. All my life I had exercised daily and have been very fit. After all, that was my job – training some of the best athletes in the world in their respective sports, and I also made sure we ate the most nutritious foods too, along with daily practice of all the mental strategies of winners. Sometimes, we never know what is around the corner. I am one of the lucky ones. Now, not a day goes by without living with an attitude of gratitude for just how blessed I really am to have great health and so much energy.

When health is absent, wisdom cannot reveal itself, art cannot manifest, strength cannot fight, wealth becomes useless, and intelligence cannot be applied.

Herophilius

He who has health has hope; and he who has hope has everything.
Arabian Proverb

The ‘I’ in illness is isolation, and the crucial letters in wellness are ‘we’.

Our mental and emotional diets determine our overall energy levels, health and well-being more than we realize. Every thought and feeling, no matter how big or small impacts our inner energy reserves.
Doc Childre

Don’t take your good health for granted as so many do. Live, love and enjoy your life and great health to the brim, before it is too late. Good health really is true wealth.

Wishing you quintessential health.
