WEEK 5 – OCTOBER 2007
I was fortunate to be able to go to the Igazu waterfalls last weekend on the border of Brazil and Argentina – regarded as one of the seven modern wonders of the world. They were absolutely spectacular, from the ecological tour on the river, the train and truck rides through the jungle, the more than 10km hiked through the most majestic trails, the animals roaming throughout, and to top it all off – a surf boat ride through the falls themselves and feeling their immense power so close, not to mention the soaking too! Definitely a must to see in one’s lifetime.
The richness I achieve comes from Nature, the source of my inspiration.
Claude Monet
We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature – trees, flowers, grass – grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence….We need silence to be able to touch souls.
Mother Teresa
In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.
Alice Walker
To live in accordance with the law of nature allows natural flow into all our experiences.
Yvonne Teoh Bource
Take time out this week to enjoy and cherish the infinite beauty of nature wherever you are. Let her gracious blessings fill your quiet moments.
