WEEK 1 – JULY 2007

Hi again from a wet, wet, Wimbledon

As the saying goes, rain, rain, go away – come again another day. I am sure that is what the tournament organisers are saying here. It has rained everyday here in London the past week so not much tennis has been played.

God didn’t promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Life is like a rainbow. You need both the sun and the rain to make its colours appear.

Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain.

Here’s hoping for a little less rain and more play!

I will conclude this week with the beautiful Irish blessing…..

“May you always have walls for the winds, a roof for the rain, tea beside the fire, laughter to cheer you, those you love near you and all your heart might desire.”

With love
