Total Well-Being

 QUOTE 16, AUGUST 2013

I was fortunate to hear Dr Deepak Chopra speak here in Melbourne last weekend on a topic close to his heart of Total Well-Being. Deepak has authored more than 70 books, including 21 New York Times bestsellers on mind-body health, quantum mechanics, spirituality, and peace. He is also a senior scientist at the Gallup Organisation which has studied Well-Being in over 100 Countries.
Total well-being means caring for your happiness in five specific areas of your life: Career, Social, Financial, Community and Physical. Less than 7% of all the people studied in 105 countries are happy in these five areas. Fortunately more than 65% are happy in one area but that is only a small start. Well-being is such an important issue for everyone as all problems are linked to our well- being.
