WEEK 4 – AUGUST 2006
We all get caught up in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives and often don’t stop to appreciate how lucky we are, what we have in our lives, our great friends and family or all the things that others sometimes do for us. We all need to be acknowledged and feel appreciated for our efforts and contribution. This week take some time to appreciate YOU and all those around you, and importantly too, tell them and show them with your actions.
The best way to appreciate a loved one is to imagine your life without them.
We are so often caught up in our destination that we forget to appreciate the journey, especially in the goodness of the people we meet on the way.
A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success.
Appreciate everything your associates do for the business. Nothing else can quite substitute for a few well-chosen, well-timed, sincere words of praise. They’re absolutely free and worth a fortune.
There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread.
Stop focusing on what you do not have and shift your consciousness to an appreciation for all you are and all that you do have.
Remember appreciation is always appreciated! And appreciate you too. You are blessed. Count your blessings.
Have an appreciative week
