Garden Inspiration

OCTOBER  2021
.
After 263 days in lock-down here in Melbourne, there has been many blessings that have been gained, one of which for me has been spending time enjoying my beautiful garden that my darling Mum so lovingly planted many years ago. It has been the gift that keeps on giving. We get so busy in our lives and it is not often we stop and appreciate the beauty that is all around us.
Here are a few beautiful garden quotes to inspire you this month.
.
.
If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.
Marcus Cicero
.
All the flowers of tomorrow are in the seeds of today.
Chinese proverb
.
Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.
Lao Tzu
.
Your mind is a garden.
Your thoughts are the seeds.
You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds
.
We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses.
Abraham Lincoln
.
Look deep into nature, and you will understand everything better.
Albert Einstein
.
Knowledge is like a garden: if it is not cultivated, it cannot be harvested.
African proverb
.
God Almighty first planted a garden, the purest of human pleasures.
Francis Bacon
.
In joy or sadness, flowers are our constant friends.
Okakura Kazuko
.
Here in Australia, it is spring and it has been an absolute joy to see all the beautiful colours emerging each week. Robin Williams summed it up well.
Spring is Nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s party!’
.
.
And it is certainly party time here with our curfews just lifted and travel limits extended within Melbourne. Make time to spend in gardens as there is beauty all around us all wherever you live and where flowers bloom, so does hope.
.
Wishing you a month filled with lots of blessings that blossom!
