Week 3 – October 2009
I had the luxury of having lunch the other day with my best friend – not so easy to do when we live in Melbourne and London! She said something to me which was really life changing and something she had said many times before, but this time I heard, and it was so powerful. Are you ‘hearing’ the real messages in all your conversations? What are you hearing?
There is always music amongst the trees in the garden, but our hearts must be very quiet to hear it.
Perhaps many more of us could hear inner melodies, find guidance and inspiration, achieve breakthrough insight, if we would only pay more attention to the fleeting images and the quiet intuition presented to us by the creative mind.
Who you are speaks so loudly. I can’t hear what you are saying.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
It is one thing to hear something, and quite another to take action and do it!
I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.
Hear something once, it is interesting. Hear it twice, verifies it. Hear it three times and it gives significance and locks it away. It’s the power of three, that cements it in people’ minds.
This week, really hear the message, and then do it!
