WEEK 1 – MAY 2009
Fail forward! Mistakes are great. Learn from them; research them; use them to propel you forward.
If at first you don’t succeed, you’re in great company.
Jockey Eddie Arcaro lost his first 45 races. Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team. You will not be remembered for the number of times you failed in the beginning, but for the number of times you succeeded in the end.
When it all comes down to it, there are no mistakes, only more learnings. Champions in all walks of life are willing to make mistake after mistake, take chances, and still keep practicing. It is the fastest way to succeed. Learn what doesn’t work. Begin again more intelligently. Mistakes are our greatest teachers.
Critics hang around and wait for others to make mistakes. But the real doers of the world have no time for criticizing others. They’re too busy doing, making mistakes, improving, making progress.
Dr Wayne Dyer
In Hollywood, mis-takes are common. (“That was wonderful, darlings. Now let’s get ready for take two.”) Give yourself as many re-takes as you need. Stars do it. Why not you?
John Roger and Peter Mc Williams
Make your mistakes your stepping stones to success.
