WEEK 1 – AUGUST 2009
Hi Ann,
I have just spent a few days in Nottingham at the Invacare World Team Cup, often referred to as the Davis and Fed Cups of wheelchair tennis. Almost 200 competitors representing 64 teams from 33 countries participated in the event. I never cease to be amazed at how hard these players train, the obstacles they have overcome and continue to face. Each and everyone of them has their own story to tell of turmoil and difficulties and seemingly insurmountable challenges. Ask anyone of them and they would not change their life. They live it to the full and never complain at all. Nothing is impossible to them.
Every obstacle is an opportunity. Every obstacle is a test.
