MAY 2021
No matter what you do, or what age you are, getting your day off to a great start sets you up to win. Here are my tried and tested tips
RISE AND SHINE! GET YOUR DAY OFF TO A GREAT START
.
Getting off to a great start always begins the night before.
.
.
NIGHT BEFORE
Get a good nights sleep. I recommend at least 7-8 hours of healthy sleep.Â
Before going to bed, I always finish my day with gratitude.
Acknowledging the good you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance. Eckhart Tolle
.
I also make a list of 3 things I would like to accomplish the next day.
Failing to plan is planning to fail.
.
Visualise your future self and how you want to be.
If you can imagine something, you can do it.
Nothing happens in reality until it happens in your mind first.

.
ON WAKING
.
Super hydrate
Drinking something healthy first thing in the morning is essential to get your day off to a great start and especially for maintaining optimal brain activity and jump starting your metabolism. Â It will also boost your energy and your alertness.
I personally start with some lemon and water and then follow that with celery juice and then 30 minutes later, I get to enjoy my super food smoothie.  For more information on Celery Juice benefits, https://www.medicalmedium.com/blog/10-health-benefits-of-celery-juice
.
Meditate and Connect into you
Give yourself the gift of this precious time for you to connect to the Extraordinary power of your own mind.
Meditation is being in-tune with our inner universe.
Silence isn’t empty. It is full of answers. Brilliant things happen in calm minds. Be calm. You’re brilliant.
If you can do this in nature, it is even better.Â
Would also suggest you write down your bright ideas that come to you at this time too. Â
All our answers are within
I also say a few prayers too.
.
Review your long term goals and vision
Review your goals every morning so you can stay focused on achieving them. Â
See them. Feel how great you will feel having achieved them.
.
Exercise
High intensity exercise first thing in the morning really lights up your brain and it leads to high performance in cognitive and mental tasks afterwards.
Even if you only have 10 minutes, do something. Set yourself up for success. Increase your heart rate and increase your cognitive abilities!Â
.
Ask great questions
Another morning routine I have done for decades is asking myself questions to set myself up for success. For example:Â What can I do to make today Extraordinary? Â How can I be more energised today? What can I do to make a difference today? What am I grateful for?
Design your own questions around your values and things that are important to you.
.
Say my Success Statements
Set yourself up for success with affirmations. Say them passionately.
Positive words have the power to change your life.Â
.
I do my questions and success statements during my exercise or shower so it is super easy to incorporate into my morning routine
.
Note – you should not have even looked at your phone or social media yet!
.
.
Eat a Healthy Breakfast
This is where I get to enjoy my super food smoothie.
Eat a healthy breakfast and set yourself up for a great day.Â
.
Now you are all energised and ready to win! Â Start with those 3 most important things first. Eat that frog!Â
. . Have an awesome day – everyday!
.
Be Extraordinary!
