WEEK 4 – NOVEMBER 2008
Many of my readers will be about to celebrate Thanksgiving this Thursday. When I lived in the US, I always loved this celebration. It was like Christmas without all the presents expressing our love and gratitude to all those around us, and to those before us.
It is love that fashions us into the fullness of our being…..not our looks, not our work, not our wants, not our achievements. Not our parents, not our status, not our dreams, these are all the fodder and filler, the navigating fuels of our lives, but it is love… who we love, how we love, why we love, which ultimately shapes us.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American readers and even if you are not in the US, show someone your love and gratitude!
