Greetings from Chengdu, China. I am here for the ITF World Tennis Tour Junior Finals, mentoring all the champions of tomorrow – the top 8 boys and 8 girls in the world. It is such a great honour to help such dedicated young professionals. They are from all over the globe: Spain, Bulgaria, Italy, USA, Germany, Romania, China, Finland, Japan, Great Britain, Belgium, Slovakia and Czech Republic. They are from such different backgrounds and yet they all have one common goal, to be the best. Here are a few inspirational quotes both from my mentoring with the players but also interspersed with some wonderful Chinese proverbs and wisdom from 4000 years of civilized history.
