WEEK 2 – AUGUST 2008

I have just arrived back from the charming Alpine village of Klosters with its majestic mountains, picturesque chalets and breathtaking views all around. Walking up the magical mountains thus inspired the quotes for this week. Enjoy.

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.
John Muir

Take time to relish all you have done and achieved. Appreciate all the great times and be grateful for all the lessons too. It is only in scaling the mountain from the deepest valley that makes the view from the top so exhilarating.
Ann Quinn

The experienced mountain climber is not intimidated by a mountain – he is inspired by it. The persistent winner is not discouraged by a problem – he is challenged by it. Mountains are created to be conquered; adversities are designed to be defeated; problems are sent to be solved. It is better to master one mountain than a thousand foothills.
William Arthur Ward

Jesus tells us that if we have enough faith we can move mountains. What is the mountain you will move? Ask, pray, have faith and conquer your mountain.

Love and blessings
