Three weeks into the new year, I hope you’re feeling inspired and ready to make this year truly Extraordinary. How are those New Year’s resolutions progressing? Are you still on track?  Most of us start the year brimming with motivation, ready to take on the world. Motivation alone isn’t enough—it’s what gets you started, but it’s the habits you build that keep you going.

This year, my wish for you is simple: create habits that make you happy and live a life you love.

Our daily actions define who we become. The habits we repeat—whether big or small—shape our success, happiness, and fulfillment. By consciously choosing and cultivating positive habits, we create a foundation for excellence in every area of life. 
As Will Durant said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
Start Small, Stay Consistent
Big results don’t always require massive action. Instead, they come from consistent, daily habits. As James Clear puts it, “Success is the byproduct of daily habits—not once-in-a-lifetime transformations.

Keep it Simple
The secret lies in simplicity. Begin with one small change. Commit to it daily. Over time, it becomes second nature. Research shows it takes about 66 days to reach a state of automaticity,where the new habit feels easier to do than not to do and your new habit becomes effortless.

One of my new habits for 2025
This year, I’ve committed to taking 30 minutes out of my day just for me—to pause, breathe, and simply be. No distractions, no agenda, just time to reconnect with myself. And let me tell you, I’m already feeling the difference!

It’s a small habit, but it’s creating a big impact. It’s a reminder that self-care isn’t selfish—it’s essential.
