WEEK 4 – MARCH 2009

My boss sent our Leadership team a great quote last week and challenged us all to abandon something. A great concept. How long is it since you have reviewed all your processes, policies and the way you operate? With all the new technology around, are you remaining competitive doing what you always did? We always talk about adding things and improving what we do, but what could you abandon? What do you need to let go of, discard, change or do in order to be even more effective?

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.
Lao Tzu

Every problem has a solution, only if we perhaps change our attitude.

Sometimes you’ve got to let everything go…purge yourself. If you are unhappy with anything…whatever is bringing you down, get rid of it. Because you’ll find that when you’re free, your true creativity, your true self comes out.
Tina Turner

The first step on the road to innovation is abandonment.

Try and abandon something yourself this week!
