WEEK 2 – OCTOBER 2008
One of the great things about traveling is the wonderful life experiences it brings, and last week was no exception. We had a lovely evening dining by candlelight in the lush rainforests of Northern Australia. The setting was timeless amidst the warm glow of Australian hospitality and fabulous creative cuisine (like kangaroo and crocodile!) and superb Aussie wines. The highlight however was just sitting by the river listening to the sounds of the didgiredoo and being enchanted by intimate stories from the local Aborigines. This week I thus wanted to share with you a few Aboriginal sayings.
We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love… and then we return home.
The more you know, the less you need.
Those who lose dreaming are lost
Enjoy some time to remember your ancestors and some time to dream this week.
With love
