Be True to You

Firstly, thanks to everyone for all the positive feedback last week on Nutritious Medicine. Many of you are hungry for more so I promise I will post some more tips next month.

I have just had a great week back home in London. It was wonderful to reconnect with clients and friends again, face to face. One thing that came up this week in particular with several people was speaking their truth and being true to themselves.  It might be something as simple as saying ‘No’ to a cup of tea because no one else is having one, so you say ‘No Thanks’ when you would have really enjoyed a cup!  In work and relationships, so many people don’t say what they really think or might have upset them at the time, only to bring it into an argument later on!  My challenge to you all this week, is to be true to you!  Have the courage and strength to stand up for what you believe in, even when others have a different viewpoint or opinion.

Your time is limited so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice.  And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.  They somehow already know what you truly want to become.  Everything else is secondary.
Steve Jobs

Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted in important matters.
Albert Einstein

I was angry with my friend:
I told my wrath, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe:
I told it not, my wrath did grow.
William Blake

Unless your heart, your soul, and your whole being are behind every decision you make, the words from your mouth will be empty, and each action will be meaningless. Truth and confidence are the roots of happiness.

Have a great week and be true to you.

Love and blessings
