Japanese Proverbs

WEEK 2 – APRIL 2006

Greetings this week come to you whilst on another plane, this time bound for Tokyo. I received a great response last year from the Japanese proverbs, so here are a few more Japanese words of wisdom.

An accomplishment sticks to a person.

Fall seven times; stand up eight.

When the character of a man is not clear to you, look at his friends.

Fear is only as deep as the mind allows.

The reputation of a thousand years may be determined by the conduct of one hour.

Sayonara
Have a great week.

Love Ann
