WEEK 4 AUGUST 2011
I had a great four days at Bath University last week in a Paralympic Simulation Camp for 2012. Paralympic athletes are not only incredible athletes but all of them have been through some sort of tragedy whether it’s from an accident, an illness or even a military injury and their triumph over adversity is an inspiration to all.
History has demonstrated that the most notable winners usually encountered heartbreaking obstacles before they triumphed. They won because they refused to become discouraged by their defeats.
Desire is the key to motivation, but it’s the determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal – a commitment to excellence – that will enable you to attain the success you seek.
I take nothing for granted. I now have only good days or great days.
What the mind of man can conceive and believe, the mind of man can achieve.
Count your blessings and be all you can be.
Have a brilliant week
