Winners see what they want to happen. Do you do that in your life? They have very clear pictures and feelings of themselves executing skills perfectly. As you imagine yourself performing a skill, you are creating a muscle memory of how to perform the skill. This helps to greatly accelerate the achievement of any success by activating the creative powers of your subconscious mind. Research has shown that when we perform any task in real life, the brain uses the same identical process that it would if you were vividly visualizing that activity. It is like daydreaming with a purpose. It is an extremely powerful tool for everyone to use and an excellent way to build up self-confidence in your ability to perform successfully. It has been a tool used by many of my athletes who have won Gold Medals and Grand Slams. It has helped students get into the the University they had dreamed about for years, it has helped CEO’s deliver winning presentations and even helped one of my cricketers find his beautiful wife. Here are a few great tips and quotes to inspire you to make this a daily practice.
VISUALIZE IT
Visualize your future because that’s where you are going to spend the rest of your life.
Mark Twain
Visualization is the first step in materializing your goals and dreams.
Bruce Lee
If you can imagine something, you can do it.
Nothing happens in reality until it happens in your mind first.
Make pictures in your mind of what your life will look like when you have reached those goals. Dream in perfect detail. It is the secret of all great champions and leaders.
Ann Quinn
Ordinary people believe only in the possible.
Extraordinary people visualize not what is possible or probable, but rather what is impossible. And by visualizing the impossible, they begin to see it as possible.
Cherie Carter-Scott
See it clearly. Believe it totally. Do it successfully.
