Transition to the Top

First of all, a huge thank you for the overwhelming response to my last quote on optimising your brain health. It is always awesome to hear such positive feedback. Greetings this week come from the WTA Finals here in Singapore. It has been my great pleasure and honour to host the Coaches Conference and all the outstanding speakers, including Martina Navratilova, Patrick Mouratoglou, Kathy Martin and many others. Here are some inspirational quotes from a few of the speakers to help you “Transition to the Top”

Don’t give up everything to play tennis. This is your life. Be balanced.
You must have a good balance mentally, emotionally, physically and with your recovery. Find balance in each of these.
Martina Navratilova (WTA Legend and Winner of 59 Grand Slam titles)

Breathe in, Breathe out. Move on.
Kathy Martin (WTA Senior Director of Athlete Assistance and Player Welfare Officer for the ITF)

Champions are not ruled by fear. They accept it but do not let it take control.  Many players let fear rule them and play to avoid losing. The more you do that, the more you lose confidence. Champions do not do 99.99%. They take control and they go for shots. They work hard and take responsibility. The more they do this with intention, the stronger they get. They accept they might miss, it is the price they pay to be a winner.
Patrick Mouratoglou (coach of Serena Williams and Founder of the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy)

And if you do lose: accept, recover and come back stronger…… look forward with optimism.
Carla Suarez Navarro (Current World ranking of 12)

When things go wrong, simplify and go back to basics.
Martina Navratilova

Make great habits and they will make you.
It is the little differences that make the BIG difference.
Ann Quinn

No matter what you do, these quotes apply to us all.
Transition to the top and Be Extraordinary.
Love Ann
