WEEK 1 – MAY 2010
Hi Ann,
Günaydın – That is Good Morning in Turkish!
Greetings this week come from the beautiful resort of Antalya in Turkey where I have a speaking engagement and am also coaching. Being in Turkey, I thought I would share with you some Turkish proverbs. They are all gems.
Measure a thousand times; but cut once.
A nail will come out, but its hole remains.
No one knows the weight of another’s burden.
If you look after it, it will become a garden, if you don’t look after it, it will become a mountain.
If God closes one door, He opens a thousand others.
Allaha ısmarladık – That is goodbye from Turkey!
Love Ann
