That is not something you normally hear! We are always told to keep learning. But what should you unlearn? To be our best in sport and business, you need to look at what you need to change. Are you still operating on old beliefs or systems, old routines, or assumptions? Are you pushing the boundaries of what is accepted as possible? Are you constantly reviewing and evaluating the way you do things? Adult education experts estimate that up to 40% of what tertiary students are learning will be obsolete a decade from now when they will be working in jobs that have yet to be created. Indeed, the top 10 most in-demand jobs today didn’t even exist 10 years ago. To say that we live in a changing world understates the speed of both the pace and the scope of ongoing change. To succeed today, we must constantly learn and unlearn.

To attain knowledge, add things every day.
To attain wisdom, remove things everyday.
