WEEK 3 – APRIL 2008
Walt Disney, the pioneer of animated cartoon films, the recipient of 48 Academy Awards and 7 Emmys and also the creator of Disneyland and Disney World. Who can forget Mickey Mouse, Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland or Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to name just a few? His creativity, ingenuity and ability to bring fantasies to fruition continue to enchant all ages. Here are a few words of wisdom from Walt himself.
When you believe in one thing, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionable.
All the adversity I’ve had in my life, all my troubles have strengthened me….You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.
Our heritage and ideals, our codes and standards – the things we live by and teach our children – are preserved or diminished by how freely we exchange ideas and feelings.
The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.
All our dreams can come true – if we have the courage to pursue them.
Have a magic week.
